Greylock Federal Credit Union, Pittsfield, MA

My experience with Greylock FCU has been a nightmare. I had to drive 2.5 hrs to navy fed to get a new check to pay my car off with because they didnt like how it looked. I finally got a certified cashiers check to greylock and they did pay off my car but then put the 6k on hold that i had them pit in to savings. I need that money to pay stuff off by next week. The check was good enough to pay my car off but not let me have my money left over. Come to find out the manager has the power to hold the money for 1, 2 or 7 days and after explaining how i need the money as soon as possible she chose 7 business days. Which will carry in to the week after next. It is shameful how they are. I under stand if it was a personal check but it was a certified cashiers check from a big well known bank. I will be going to the BBB and explain everything they pit me through the last few days. Use a loan shark before using this bank i cant wait to be done with them. A woman named payton is the manager. The LEE branch is worse if thats possible.

They are a great group of dedicated employs, they go out of their way to help me every time I go there! I have trouble talking due to a trachostomy tube and vocal chords nerve damage, they help me a lot! Also use a walker or Cane to get around staff is very helpful opening doors etc.

Definitely did not have a good experience at this bank. Unfortunately it was just due to poor communication skills. No eye contact, the lady who helped us was completely rude and was acting as if we were troubling her. I asked a question and was just ignored....it was an interesting experience.

i would love to know why they turned off a bunch of peoples cards with any notice, now we can’t access our money, absolutely unacceptable

Their staffs are serviceable and committed . Very good

Worse bank ever, had 2 car loans thru them. Never late and always payed of car loans early. Want a $5100 loan. Denied
