Unfortunately I had a bad experience with Envoy. On April 13 I applied for a Loan and on April 15 I had been approved for an FHA loan. I didn't find out until April 22, 2022 that I called Donald Weichel who was working with me because he never called or emailed me to let me know that I was approved for an FHA Loan. After having an accepted offer on a house. Don without any notice changed my loan from FHA to conventional. I had to call several times for him to explain to me the reason for the change. But never got an answer from him. I left it like that trusting him. Six days before closing date I contacted my lawyer to find out if everything was in order and she notified me that neither Donald, Devyn nor the Envoy mortgage team had contacted her or returned any of her calls or emails and there was paperwork that still needed to be Completed. Aside from that Don started the Underwriting Process 6 days before closing. Meanwhile two weeks before I kept asking him if everything was OK with the underwriting process and he kept telling me everything was OK and that I would be ok to close on the home July sixth. Well 5 days before closing I Find out that my loan wasn’t approved. Aside from wasting my time having no communication, spending $550 on A home inspection and $550 on an appraisal I get a bill from the lawyer for $475 because they had asked her for documents When my loan wasn’t even approved.

I'm a first time buyer I had no idea how much work goes into buying a home. Devyn Ryan and everyone at Envoy made things as simple as they could to make things easier on me. They were there every step of the way and helped with any questions I had. If I ever buy another house I will definitely contact them again.
