Place is a joke. High interest rates, only amazing credit loans. And even a high minimum for secured loans.. no customer service on weekends or after hours. Not to mention the online banking is horrible. It seems to have a delay so you never know what is in your account until the next day and they put holds on everything. Even checks from the government have been put on hold for almost a week at times. One of the worst banks I have ever had...

Don’t use the small bank. Fraud department says 24/7, on hold for over 2 hours no response. ASB hopefully gets bought by bigger bank that will have some accountability if issues pop up. Not the first time it’s happened.

This place was horrible. Went in to get something notarized, to get my foreign birth certificate. The lady was filling it out till I mentioned what it was for and then she stopped and wouldn't accept my documents. Saying it was against policy. It was fine until she realized I was foriegn born. Then none of my documents were good enough It might be the color of my skin or it might not but felt like it.

Great local bank with excellent customer service. ASB has very convenient hours too ! I recently spoke with a teller about how she knew my boss and his family and about her family history in the same profession as me. I love the small community hometime vibe that I received at ASB. I would highly recommend opening an account at ASB.

The worst 5 experiences I've ever had with any bank have all been with this bank. If they have any opportunity to charge you a million fees, they'll take it. Low quality, low morals institution. It's an absolute miracle they have retained even a single customer, you'd be better off with a shoebox in your backyard.
