I have used Empire Loan for many years. They are honest, polite, great prices. Not only have they been the best for unexpected emergencies but also a great place to purchase from. Sometimes life happens, people get stuck and Empire understands that. Definitely 5⭐ and would recommend it to anyone/everyone

Very clean, very quiet and professional environment in a business that is not always(or even usually!) the case! The staff was extremely nice & was immediate with their assistance upon my entering; followed by a very friendly interaction that involved nothing but being helpful 100% all while smiling and being friendly from start to finish.

Walked into Empire Loan to get a loan on my laptop. Per the Empire Loan website, Google, etc.this particular location closes at 6:00pm. After driving 55 minutes to get there, I was in the store at 5:32pm and was told to come back on Monday because they stop taking "items like mine" conveniently at 5:30pm. The boy that was assisting me asked if I'd been there before and yes, I had, several times. He then said he meant to ask if I have ever loaned my laptop there before. Well no, I haven't. He was quick to respond with, "oh yup, we can't do now then because we close at 6pm". He couldn't give me a reason why, but would ask someone in the back room. At this point I'd like to mention, from when I entered the store at 5:32 and up to this point, there was NO other customer in the store. So several minutes go by and then out slumps a slow- moving, disheveled looking man from "the back room" who called himself the "assistant manager". He was well prepared with an answer to my question..he said the reason why they stop taking laptops (specifically laptops) at 5:30 is because of how busy they are at the end of the day. WAIT, WHAT? I looked behind me expecting to see at least 1 other person, but nope...I WAS THE ONLY PERSON IN THE STORE from the time I walked in at 5:32 to when I left at 5:53. I couldn't help but laugh and chalked this experience up to horrible customer service, LAZINESS, and a non-existent work ethic. Good luck getting anywhere in life boys.

Have taken both a loan out several times now here, & sold items as well at E.L. I'm always happy with the amount I'm offered, and I've shopped around 1st to literally everywhere in the city before making my choices. The staff are always kind & respectful, and work with you best they can. Clean store, & money is in your hand within minutes. So glad I discovered them, only a 15min drive on 395.

They offer fare rates on loans. Obviously they’re in the money making business, not a charity, so keep that in mind before you bring in your mom’s 10yr old 32” tv asking for $200… leave it in her living room.

The inside itself may be small and there is not always a lot of inventory but the people who work there are very helpful. I would recommend this spot over and over again they were able to take my laptop that is a few years old for a loan of almost 400$ when no other pawnshop would help me. I've gone there many times amazing service.

Roland was a huge help and very professional and took care when placing my item in the storage box (neatly and organized.)He also updated me with future loan price changes for the item I loaned and made me aware of why. Always a good experience when I need to stop by for a little money pick me up.

Always a great experience! Have been there before and because of their help was able to get back on my feet! Older lady is very smart and knowledgeable as are the others and I got a top dollar loan!! Would recommend to anyone even close family!
