I got a loan over 8 years ago called them to pay it off they said I owed them over $700 when I only owed them two payments now 8 years later I have a lean on my house for almost $2000 wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy

The branch manager speaks to clients condenscingly. They come off friendly when doing business but once you are locked in with a loan, they talk down on you even when you are not speaking that way to them. I will never do business with Lendmark Financial Services ever again.

They prey on people with poor credit. BEWARE: they added extra insurance policies onto my loan without explaining any of it. My principal balance ended up being over a thousand more than I asked for (without the added APR) This should be illegal. Terrible professionalism and customer service. They don’t care about the customer, at all. Unethical and poor service. Go elsewhere! Also, every response from the company on the negative posts here that says contact your local branch for assistance. They won’t do anything to help you. It’s a lie that they strive for “100% customer satisfaction”

Unless you want your personal information given out to the people you put down as a reference, I suggest staying far away from these people! They didnt contact either of the people on the loan, but contacted my references and told all of them my financial status which is ILLEGAL!!! Not only that, if you're 2 weeks late on a payment (after telling them you filed bankruptcy and your lawyer instructed you to stop all payments), you might have one of their employees randomly showing up at your house. HUGE mistake coming here. Borrowed $2500 for my wedding and ended up owing more than double that amount. What a joke.
