What a great experience! I came in with a load of estate jewelry to get a sense of value before having the family select and sell the rest. I was very up front about what I was doing (meaning I wasn’t selling that day) and the owner was wonderful! Patient, thoughtful, interested in chatting and giving me info I didn’t know about the history of my pieces. Very knowledgeable and efficient. I felt like he really had an interest. Some pieces were of value as jewelry, some were only valuable for the gold. He was up front about both and even said not to sell him some pieces if they had sentimental value. Did he offer close to retail? No! But it’s a pawn shop! I do not have the time or energy to list piece by piece on eBay, so after my family chooses what they want I will be back to sell the rest here.

A true pawn shop! The broker put in work to research what I had. We struck a deal and he gave me what I asked for. Never once did he try to talk my asking price down. It's a 45 minute drive for me and I won't hesitate to go back!

I did not know what to expect walking into a store of used items; I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in for a break from my Christmas shopping. It was nice to be greeted by the gentleman behind the counter who also pointed out a few helpful options. I will definitely stop back in another time. You never know what cool stuff you may find

Recently purchased some scuba equipment from Frederick Jewelery & Loan. I don't deal with pawn's shop often, however when I walked in I was pleasantly surprised at the friendliness of the staff. The item I purchased was in great condition. I got it home to test and make sure it worked. I noticed a few differences that indicated this was a slightly different version than I thought and we based our pricing off of the higher trim level. I contacted them the next day to let them know what I had found. Again, very polite and understanding. I stopped back in a few days later and we adjusted the price based on my findings and they credited me money back. They didn't have to do this. Really I should have noticed this at the time of purchase and negotiated the trim difference up front. However, they did and I appreciate it. I can't say enough about their honesty and willingness to make things right. I would happily do business again with Frederick Jewelry & Loan. Side note, while browsing around I noticed they have a stellar collection of Tools and Guitars!

The guy who helped me today was really nice and even thou I had a busted computer screen he gave me a break and gave me the amount that i asked for. I really appreciate his generosity and hospitality. First time I did business with them. Thank you!

The customer service and professionalism is amazing. They have basically everything that I have wanted at amazing prices. The owner works with you to give you fair prices for items you want to purchase as well as fair selling prices he offers for your items you want to sell or pawn. He has so much knowledge of jewelry he sells as far as name of stones, diamond quality and watches that is incredible, Also the condition and quality of the merchandise is really great. I got so much stuff even my rumba vacuum cleaner for like $100.00 and my most recently purchase was a beautiful diamond necklace, thanks so much!

Every time I've been to this pawn shop it's been a great experience and a fun time for myself and my best friend. I have made several purchases and will make more in the future. Peter is a great guy to work with.

Get your jewelry looked at by a professional before selling. He offended me $50 while my ring was estimated around $3,000.
