i recieved a check from my AMERICAN INDIA TRIBE. i did an in app deposit. the app sent a message that it would be available THE VERY NEXT DAY. i go to bank the next day and they say- oh it wont be available for up to 2 weeks-...so im waiting and waiting. i get a letter in the mail stating they have " confidential information" that the check wont be paid. im thinking is this a race thing again? (because i had a problem at the newport maine branch accusing me of trying to commit fraud when i was making a deposit for a company i worked for- because i look "indian".) long story short i got my money and i no longer use the account because this is the second instance of racism i have had to deal with.

I received a check in response to an ad I posted. I asked Keybank to verify if the check was real. They didnt verify, instead they cashed it. The next day I asked again if it was a real check, it wasnt and it took under a minute to detect a fraudulent check. Everybody in the bank then lied saying I never asked to have it verified day 1. When the check bounced it was too late, the money had been transferred back to the original owner of the fake check. The bank then stole 1850$ from me and a bit more for their troubles. They are horrible cold dishonest people and if you trust keybank you will likely find that out the hard way. They cannot be trusted with so much as a paperclip without their untrained dishonest staff of primarily women trying to rob you.

People are always pleasant and helpful here. Teller went out of her way to answer questions about setting up a new account. Kudos!

Usually have an awesome experience. However today, I went it to have a counter check. She informed me of an 8$ fee. I responded that I’ve never paid that fee in the last two years, and I do this monthly to pay my rent. She was extremely rude, and than when I called customer service to complain, apparently she screwed the whole check, and the guy on the phone had zero idea of what she was trying to do. So not only was she rude, she couldn’t do her job correctly.
