We found out we signed up for the wrong course and we had already paid the registration fees. We requested a cancellation and refund over 10 days in advance of the course. The guy who answered my husband on the phone actually laughed at him for asking. This was after multiple attempts at getting a hold of Heather, the person in charge of the homebuyers course, who refused to answer our phone calls or emails. Also note that the sign up form for the course does not warn you that the fee is apparently nonrefundable. There is literally no real reason why we cannot get our money back, especially when we requested it so far in advance. So thanks Maine Stream Finance, enjoy our money which you got for absolutely nothing. That is practically theft. Extremely unprofessional and shady organization that takes advantage of vulnerable people.

I purchased my first home through maine stream they were easy to work with and super friendly walking me through each step slowly so I would understand the classes were great I got the chance to learn so much that I never knew before. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to buy their first home. Thanks team
