So I would like to start off with, My Fiancé & I started off using Rocket Mortgage for a lender, I had previously bought a home through them BUT I was traumatized! TERRIFIED to try and get a different lender. We were on the verge of giving up and finding a rental/becoming homeless.. because RM upped our closing costs on us from $13,000 to $23,800 within 2 days.. there was no way we could come up with over $10,000... Our realtor then suggested to try out MPL and contact Skylar, so my fiancé and I did. We instantly got pre approved, then started our loan process, from START TO FINISH, We closed on our forever home in 14 DAYS! August 8, 2022 - August 22, 2022 (My Fiancé's Birthday) With a BETTER interest rate along with $8,500 less than what Rocket Mortgage wanted for our closing through them. We ALSO got the option to have an FHA loan OR Conventional with Maine Pointe Lending and we NEVER got that option with RM. I loved that we spoke with Vanessa during the whole beginning, then during the last part of our application to closing we spoke with Matthew, all three of these people are truly a blessing! (Skylar, Vanessa & Matthew) Matthew was never judgmental, Answered ALL of my questions and got back to me within an hour of asking it, No matter what the time was.
