Maine Savings, Hampden, ME

I wish I could say that they are really great but I can't did you know that when you pay your bill over and above what the payment is they still charge you a late fee, will probably move to different institution. Too bad.

Siobhan was very helpful when I called about some financial mistakes I had made which had to lead to me having an overdrawn account. She was understanding and since my account has not been overdrawn before, she was able to get approval from her supervisor to get the fees removed for me. This helped me TREMENDOUSLY and serves as a perfect example of the great customer service that I've experienced over the years as a member of MSFCU. Thank you Siobhan & MSFCU!!

First, the positive. The telephone bankers and the branch staff are all very professional and courteous. I never had to wait long for assistance. The negative: unless you have a stellar FICO score you're not going to get a loan or a credit card, you're going to get a non-interest bearing checking account and poorly disclosed overdraft fees, which are steep. In that sense, they're really not a member-oriented/community oriented financial services organization, they're just a regional commercial bank dressed up in credit union clothing.

The absolute best credit union around. We've been members since 2008 and won't do our banking anywhere else. The staff here, from the tellers all the way up to the VP of Member Services, are simply amazing and truly go above and beyond to ensure that their members are well taken care of. If there is ever an issue, they are extremely responsive and quick to resolve it. I can't recommend this credit union enough!

I absolutely love Maine Savings Bank!! The people who work here go above and beyond customer service. I have had the pleasure of recently working with Lexi (the assistant branch manager) and she has made me feel just like family. The people who work here genuinely care about the people who live right here in Maine. It is their pleasure to help folks save money and get loans no matter the circumstances! I have never seen such great service and care for the people. Thank you for everything you do Maine Savings Team!!

Maine savings is definitely one of the best Credit Unions to go through. Whether it’s financing your vehicle, or even getting set up with an account. All of the staff at Hampden are extremely friendly. However, I would highly recommend talking to Danika with anything you need. She has helped me numerous times. She always has amazing customer service, and she is always willing to help with whatever you need!

In the past 12 months I have taken out two loans for equipment. Danielle Hewes has made it such an easy and effort less experience that I wouldn’t even consider shopping elsewhere! Thank you for always being there when I need you!
