Changing banks as soon as we get a minute. We've been having issues with this branch for awhile now. I got a new card the other day and they said I could use it in an hour. I used it in 2 hours to make sure it worked and sure enough it did not. I stood at Hannford for an hour while they tried to figure out why it wouldn't work. Excuse after excuse. In the end it was because the teller never punched it in. I also made a change of address while I was in there last week! Going in there today I discovered they never made a change of address either. While I was there today I was dealing with an unpleasant teller. I won't mention her name as I am still a customer. But not for long. I never did a money wire transfer and had no idea how to go about it. She was not friendly and I even got a couple eye rolls. A few months ago we also paid off a $7,000 car loan we had with them as well...never late...we went to them for another loan and were denied...why is that? Because we paid off the loan?? Also they are not open on the weekends anymore which is the only time we have to do our banking without taking time off from work. Bye bye peoples chouce....your not our choice anymore !!

Predatory loans that prey on people trying to rebuild their credit and very non apologetic about it. 5 years ago I was in the process of rebuilding my credit. Took a loan with a very high interest rate in the hopes of refinancing after a couple of years. I went two years straight paying on time or before my bill was due. I paid 200 to principle and 250 to interest every month. I went into the office to refinance and they told me they can't do anything about it. It is what it is. I sold the car and got from under the loan (best decision I've ever made,) now I have really good credit (nothing to do with people's first) and am happy to never use them again.

Just all around a terrible organization! I don’t agree with anything this bank does. Everything from their lack in customer service to terrible rates. They should really look into changing their name too, because I’m not sure what type of “people” would choose this bank. Highly recommend going with a different financial organization.

Worst credit union I ever worked with and the service is horrible! If your actually able to get through the receptionist is rude and sends you to voicemails when you ask to speak to an actual person. NOBODY answers their phone and if they do, they cant help you or say you need to speak to someone else. Branch manager was useless after their title department lost my title and did nothing over 6 months time even after several phone calls and 3 personal visits. She said it was not her department even though it was being handled by employees under her roof. The branch manager would also not take calls and say she was busy with customers when in fact she was dubbing around in her office by herself. I verified this after she dodged my calls for days and I sat in the waiting area calling her and hearing her say she was busy with someone in her office. Just pure laziness and lies. Due to the ongoing issues which could easily have been resolved we pulled both our accounts and auto loan to deal with another bank. They are always understaffed and every little thing turns into drama. Do yourself a favor and stay clear of this place! The other negative reviews I read are spot on

Beautiful building with very personable employees. Used to be St. Joseph's Credit union, but that certainly limited the pool of interested members as this area was a HUGE Catholic community of mill workers/owners in mills mostly in Biddeford. Moved credit union to Saco and created a credit union for ALL. On way to turnpike for many workers heading to Portland. Strategically placed. Easy on & off ramp to Old Orchard Beach too. Can't beat the service...

The employees are all very helpful. People's Choice Credit Union also is offering the highest interest rates in my area, making my money grow in leaps and bounds!

Likes to charge high over draft fees and tell you something’s resolved. Then keep charging overdraft fees while you try to deposit money in. I’m done with this scam when I pay off my loan.
