Saco Valley Credit Union, Saco, ME

My wife and I have been members since her former employers credit union merged with Saco Valley. It has never been anything but top notch customer service, they have a great staff and it shows. We're very satisfied!!

I believe my family has been Saco Valley Credit for the last fifty years anyways. If that doesn't say how awesome the entire Saco Valley ......NOTHING WILL !!!!!!!

The customer service at Saco Valley Credit Union is top notch. Everyone from Marsha, Matt to Shawn and all the tellers are all very helpful and available to help with all of your needs. I switched from a traditional bank to Saco Valley Credit Union about 9 years ago and never looked back. They make you feel like family. I highly recommend SCVU for all of your financial needs.

Saco Valley is the best bank I've ever had! Unfortunately, we moved and it was too complicated to keep up with shared branching---but when we lived in Saco, they were always very friendly, and always willing to help me with whatever I needed help with. There were several times they helped me get my money back either from a internet scam (more than $400!!), and fees from other creditors, etc. I would highly recommend them to anyone!

This greedy credit union charges ATM fees for credit union members. There is another credit union 2 or 3 miles away I’d use next time if I had cause. Update: Per your request I called the bank and spoke with a Linda. I was told that just because you offer shared branching doesn’t mean you don’t charge ATM fees. So when a credit union member searches the network they are in, at the very least they are being mislead to believing that when they travel to your branch they will not be charge. The practice is despicable and you should be ashamed of it.

One of their male employees had nothing better to do today than to intimidate and harass a mother with a baby for daring to park in the SVCU parking lot on "their busiest day of the month." He continued to harass her when she took more than two minutes to get out of the parking lot because she was informing another patron of a better place to park. This is not acceptable behavior.

They love to turn off your cards with no reason or warning at random.
