Today I went in and was helped by the assistant branch manager Chelsey C. She was WONDERFUL!!! i went on my break to open a new checking account and replace my card and she had me in and out with extra time for me to spare ! She has a great personality and it was delightful working with her.

Pains me to write this review but I feel it’s necessary. I’ve been with another local credit union for 7 years. I’ve taken all my loans out with them. Needed a boat loan and wanted to rate shop which brought me to evergreen. They beat every rate by 3-4%. I had the cash to purchase the boat but wanted to get it financed. Started the process became a member and sent every single piece of income and all the necessary stuff. Qualified no issues, high credit (790) and low debt/income ratio. Told the loan officer, “The seller prefers cash can I pay him and then get it financed after the fact?”, he assured me as long as I registered it and have the bill of sale and title it wouldn’t be an issue. I have emails to show. I did so. Just to have the officer come back and tell me he wasn’t aware of the cash-out loan procedures and in fact we should of gotten the information and issued a check instead of paying cash. Now I’m in a position where I’m taking out a LARGE loan at a +3% higher interest rate at another establishment because Evergreens very own employee. To add insult to injury I tried to get somewhere with the bank manager and she didn’t think the officer did anything wrong. Kind of mind blowing the lack of training and customer service across the board. Really wanted to give this credit union a shot but I guess I’ll stick to what I know. Writing this in hopes that it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I agree with reviewer above ,they did the same with me at the last moment just denied it and even that took them forever.

If you don't have electronic statements you get charged to hold your account open $3.95. we will be closing both accounts this week.we bank with other banks as well and never got a fee to hold open an account. Ridiculous.

Miss Gloria needs a raise!!!! She was incredibly helpful, efficient and so kind while helping my boyfriend set up a checking account. We love her!!!❤️
