I came into this shared location branch with my daughter (minor) who has a saving account with (One Detroit) credit union. As always she wanted to withdrawal money from her account. She des not have a drivers license and never needs one when she makes with drawls at any other shared branch location in the past. However today this afternoon, the teller told us she can’t help us because we are not members, and needed a signature to withdrawal money. This is the 1st time any location has ever told my daughter, me or my husband that we needed to sign for her. My experience was 0-10 but that wasn’t an option. I feel like the teller didn’t even try to understand or explain anything. She just looked at the slip my daughter filled out and said all this needs to be filled out. After I explained she doesn’t have a drivers license, and she withdrawals money all the time from her account without no problem. I feel like me and my daughter were racially profiled as soon as we walked into the branch. This was my first time at this location and I will not be back ever again.

Came in for a larger cash withdrawal, so I called ahead to ensure it wouldn't be a problem. Was told on the phone it wouldn't be an issue, so I drove the 20 minutes it took to get here. When I got up to the teller, she cut me off mid-sentence to tell me that the daily limit is $5,000. I advised her that I called ahead and she was hostile with me from there on out. She did honor the withdrawal which is why I gave 2 stars, but this gal needs some training in customer service. Rude, didn't give me a receipt for my large transaction, and didn't even offer me an envelope for the cash... disappointed by the service I got and certainly won't be back to this location. I am moving out of state soon and interactions such as these make me question staying with Genisys

Unfortunately our credit union merged with Genesys. First time I had to call for information the person was quite rude! I mean they have sent us so many letters we can barely keep up with anything and her response to my question was very much uncalled for I'm sure I'm not the only one to call and ask this same question. So maybe we just need to find somewhere else if this is kind of service we're going to get. We have been with the other credit union for many many years and I don't think we ever got talk to so rudely.

While shopping around for interest rates on my auto loan I found Genisys. They were able to offer me the lowest rates out of any other place I could find, and their customer service was amazing. I was helped by Kathleen N. It was my first time going through the loan process and they were so extremely helpful, not only did they make the process feel smooth and simple, but she helped me save a lot of money in the process.
