Marilynn helped me get my loan. I was looking to get a secured loan, which is where they put a lien on you vehicle and it makes your interest rate lower. She was very nice and I thought she explained well. I didn’t realize until I got home and went to take all of my documents out of my Manila envelope, that she in fact gave me an unsecured loan. She took my title and we definitely talked Only about getting the secured loan and she placed the title back into my envelope and said nothing. Once I got my first statement, I realized that my interest rate was insane. A biweekly payment of $130.00, and 40 of it went toward my loan and the 90 went toward interest. I also got my loan in November. They had a promotion going on, that your first payment would be until after January 1st. Their first withdrawal was dec 13, and second was dec 30. I called Marilynn to get my payoff amount so I could just wash my hands of this. She gave me the amount and told me I could pay it online. I paid it online, and there was in fact still a balance. So I called her back and she told me that it changes and to get back online to pay it. It wouldn’t allow me to make 2 payments in the same day. Just the run around... Just be aware of what can happen. Take someone with you that is educated in this type of thing.

Back in February, due to financial difficulties after a heart attack, I asked to be refinanced and they talked me out of it. By the time May rolled around I had to change jobs, due to lack of hours. When I went in to refinance then, I was told I needed a co-signer (mind you I had Never been late or missed a payment at that time). I came back with one and was turned down for the refinancing because I made less money than before. (Duh) Now that I have finally missed a payment (August), they call my house on a regular basis, but only let it ring twice before they hang up. What kind of bologna is that? I will catch it up today 09/15, but they now have to go on rotation along with the rest of my bills. I hope anyone else who borrows from them will at least be for warned by this. I have recommended them in the past to people, but I will no longer do that. I don't want anyone else to have to struggle like me.

Worthless criminal organization. They offer you one thing, switch to another thing later, change interest rates, make harassing phone calls when you refuse to accept their lame offer. Wanda should be fired from there. She REPEATEDLY makes harassing phone calls to get you to accept their offer after you refuse and tell them to never call you again. Going to report them for their behavior.

I had a very quick and informational process! I left on lunch break to sign papers and approved for the loan within 15 minutes. The money was in my account the next morning like they said! Thanks again One Main
