Lake Trust Credit Union, Brighton, MI

I've been a member for roughly 6 years and I regret switching to here from my previous bank. You go negative, and unlike other credit unions and banks, they charge you $32 PER DAY for being in the negatives. You add money to your account before you get that charge? Too bad, they're still gonna take it. They don't care about their members if they do this. I would understand if it was a one time thing once you got to the negatives, but everyday? That's ridiculous! I'm closing my account here and switching to my old bank.

Everyone is so helpful and friendly. One person can help with all your needs because they are crilosstrained to be able to help with it all. Brighton office is great.

I've had so much difficulty just trying to make lake trust credit union credit card payments through the app. Sometimes the payment would go through, then sometimes it would be reversed and I wouldn't know. So, The last time I called and told the lady my problem and made a payment over the phone. That payment was also reversed. Then I went into the Grand River office and had great service by Fran who actually called the credit card people and found out it was a glitch in the system. Now, I'm waiting for a refund on the late fees that I should never have been charged. It's all very frustrating. Wow, just wow.

By far the best place I have ever banked, the staff is unbelievably helpful and friendly. Their customer service is beyond great. I would highly recommend them for your banking needs. The only thing Lake Trust could do to improve would be to cut ties with Mortgage Center, they are one of, if not the worst mortgage lenders in Michigan.

Interest rates are a little high, other then that, they have the best on line banking system ever.

Very helpful, friendly staff. As a new resident from out of state I was very grateful to have been referred to this credit union. I will be sending others to them myself.

Pretty nice temporary space. It’s in a bit of a weird spot but the signs pointing to it from the front of the parking lot make it much easier to find when navigating the brook side mall complex. Tellers were nice and the space is clean.

I’ve been with LT for years and have never had an issue. Every branch that I’ve used has been incredible! Very friendly staff. If random things come up or I’ve needed help with something they are always nice when you call in. Highly recommend!
