Genisys Credit Union, Chesterfield Township, MI

Had a car loan & LOC went well made payments on time etc. even paid my car off. credit was ok. Never missed a payment. Went back for a summer loan then get denied with better credit. It’s crazy thats with less than perfect credit they approve u. But with fair credit they denied u. Yeah I’ll be switching credit unions today. U could barely get approved for anythg with them. And I’ve been with them for about 7 years. But these the ppl with thought we could go to in a time of need.

I Love my Genisys Credit Union ! 'Lois' got my van financed for me first of all (during Covid). Then I switched all of my accounts from Chase - 'Sarah' did that for me (she's the best - she has helped me so much ). 'Anton' was also a pleasure to work with while he re-financed my condo for me. And, my meetings with 'Tim' & 'Jessica' have always been wonderful. Thank You to my Genisys Team !!!

I was shopping around for a loan to purchase a brand new motorcycle. I began the process with Stephanie in the loan department. I am here to say she is a top notch person with phenomenal customer service. She made the process painless and flowed very quickly. I was able to get all my papers signed electronically due to time restraints from my job and their lobby hours. She kept in contact with my insurance company and made sure all of us were on the same page with all the correct documents needed for each side of the transaction to make it flow easily. I highly recommend to ask for her. You will NOT be disappointed. So a couple days after that, I was qualified through one of the dealers lenders but I did not like the interests rate that I was given. So I knew that credit unions are usually much better than regular banks. Being that I am already a Genisys member with a checking account, I applied for a loan here and got qualified for a loan with 50% less of an interest rate so I for sure went with Genisys. Within 24 hours Stephanie had an answer back that I was accepted and the next day, I drove away with my new motorcycle. A+++++++

Have repeatedly tried calling ,for the last 2 weeks at various times of the day and they never have answered the phone. I refuse to drive there, just to make an appointment to speak to a Loan Officer about opening a checking account and to apply for a personal loan. You have lost a potential new customer. I will take my business elsewhere. You state you are not a bank, and that is a good thing. But, at least my bank always answers the phone, and that is a better thing!

Sarah and Timothy are very easy to work with on any banking need. Excellent customer service for business and personal financing. Keep up the great work!

Sarah, the loan officer that i spoke with, helped me so much, made me feel very comfortable with my first car loan, and what the procedure is. Whether i had a stupid question or a very complicated and specific situation she helped me through it reassured me on what my next steps are as well as what i can expect from the dealership. I would highly recommend Sarah and will SOLELY be requesting her every time i have a question or concern! Thank you sarah!!

Friendly, professional, best customer service and experience around! Cause all the staff are wonderful, but I just have to give a special shoutout to Stephanie and Aaron up front — professional, knowledgeable, always upbeat and friendly as well! While I’ve never had a “bad” experience at any Genisys CU, this branch location is by far my favorite — best in MI

I live closer to the Shelby Twp location but I make the drive to this one because of the awesome staff. They are friendly and never give me issues about the services I require. I feel comfortable in the branch too, most banks give me anxiety. Definitely will keep traveling to this branch
