My mom passed away on July 4th and I contacted Celink in reference to her passing away. I sent in all the documents I was asked to send in. I had the home up for sale and 4 months later I’m getting foreclosure papers served to me. I’m supposed to have 12 months from her passing to sell it. I contacted them again to ask why did I receive foreclosure papers and was informed they didn’t receive a piece of paper they were expecting but instead of calling me they started foreclosure. Thank god I already had a buyer to beat foreclosure but now they are delaying the buy off number trying to get more interest off the loan. What a horrible company to deal with in a time that is so difficult as losing your only parent. I tried calling only to be told they have up to 2 weeks to get the number to me but it’s only good for 3 days what a bunch of crooks!!! BEWARE!!!!

Please, please, please PLEASE DO NOT GET A REVERSE MORTGAGE! EVER! They are the biggest CROOKS I have ever seen! I am a Realtor, and I have been trying to assist a Client with selling a home involved with one, and I have never been given the run around more in my life. They give a different answer every time you call. They ask for things that cannot legally be produced. They denied my Client's request to sell based on a requirement. The requirement? To produce a Settlement Statement for one thing. There cannot be a Settlement Statement without an Appraisal. There cannot be an Appraisal without a Signed Contract. We can't get a signed Contract because they tell us every time we call, after listening to elevator music for one hour, they are missing something, then the next time something different. The things they say they are missing, we have proof we sent. They take a minimum of 10 days every time to even look at what you sent them, sometimes more. They know what they're doing. They are racking up more charges by avoiding you, giving you the run around, saying they don't have things we know they have, and by requiring things that cannot possibly be produced. They are SCAMMERS and Con Artists. Trust me, there are other ways, you do NOT want to ever go down this path. You will lose every bit of control of your life if you do. There appears to be no regulation of these Companies whatsoever. Magnum PI, you would do yourself a favor by not enticing people to be defrauded by these Companies!

The WORST company EVER!!! They try every trick in the book to deter you from purchasing the property back from them. Not to mention the outrageous monthly fees they charge you! One fee was $900.00 in attorney fees to get a payoff balance! Another fee was $20 monthly inspection fee and house inspection fee (can’t remember the outlandish amount ) and NO ONE NEVER came to inspect the property. They also refused to give me a copy of the home inspection. These are just a few fees they charged me monthly after my mom passed. I could write a book on all of the back hand antics they did. However, I’m saving them for my lawyer. These crooks have to be stopped. They only got one star because I could not select ZERO stars!! Stay as far away from this company as you can!!!

Never hated something so much in my life. I'm so sorry that my parents went this route. It a nightmare dealing with them.

My sister had a reverse mortgage with this company. She past away on May 4th, 21. Paper work was process via my attorney for probate as recommended. Much to my surprise without notice they sold my sister house by Aug 19th, 21. My sister house is full with her furnishing still. This company has no requard for those who lost a love one. I believe they are crooks. Its sad to see their work ethnic

You can call 5 different times and ask the same question, but get 5 different answers. They are itching to foreclose. A reverse mortgage was great for my mom's situation. The problem becomes the caregivers nightmare after a long battle with a prents illness, you have to deal with unscrupulous predatory people. Yes, the note is due at a certain point, but be truthful and give people a chance to get the house cleaned out.
