ELGA Credit Union Fenton, Fenton, MI

I'd give Elga as a whole a five star rating. The Fenton location I would now give only a 2 though. I have been with Elga in Fenton for almost 20 years. They have been so helpful and kind. But not too long ago the staff changed at this location and have been replaced with some young girls. That would've been just fine except the customer service went downhill when the others left. Now every time I go, even though they are smiling, it seems like no one is home. Just blank smiling faces that are not at all helpful unless it is a simple deposit or withdrawal transaction. I love Elga, and this location is very convenient, but I think I'll be going to one in another nearby town where they are friendly AND helpful and actually seem to know what they're doing.

Locked my card out while I was out of town. Anyone I can talk to insists I have no transaction history and that my card is not active despite years of patronage so now I'm just SOL 3 hours from home completely cut off from all my funds. Never banking here again.

We moved and had to find a new credit union, joined Dort which was a huge mistake, closed that account within a day, found ELGA, and so happy I did, not only are their staff extremely friendly and helpful everytime I have had to deal with them, on the phone or in-person, their services are awesome and they don't judge you for a flawed credit score, they actually try and help you fix it!!. So happy I found them.

I am able to do the majority of my banking business on the phone and internet

I recently had the pleasure of working with Jen Curtis at the Fenton VGs location. I am in the middle of planning my dream wedding and came up short on money needed to make my special day happen. She helped me secure a personal loan within 12 hours and made it so easy and stress free. She is very professional and knowledgeable. You have an outstanding employee working for you!!!

I go to the North Leroy St. VG's location and I am always made to feel welcome. They exhibit professionalism with just enough of a personal touch as to feel valued. The transactions are done in a timely manner and I am always asked if there is anything else I need. If so I am offered solutions and if not I am thanked. I appreciate the employees here because they appreciate me.

The customer service at this ELGA is great keep up the great work
