We had a great experience with Treadstone. Josh and the team checked in on us several times as we went through the process of finding a house, making sure we had what we needed and that any questions were answered. Once we had an offer accepted, the team worked quickly and efficiently to get everything set up for closing and clearly communicated what was needed every step of the way. We were able to sit down virtually with Kevin and go over in detail all of the pieces that would go into our mortgage and closing costs and he made sure we understood what was what and ensured we got the best interest rate possible. Everything went smoothly and Treadstone and our realtor made sure we were able to complete our closing in less than a month.

As a first-time home buyer, working with Treadstone was a positive experience. I worked primarily with Heidi earlier in the process, through making offers and pricing out scenarios. She was particularly helpful in providing the latest starting rates and assisting with tax estimates. Once an offer was accepted, I worked more with Kevin, who was able to provide a very detailed breakdown of closing costs and answer several questions on closing and loan terms. Treadstone rates were competitive with negotiation. With a pre-approval in place, and many documents already in hand, the closing process was quite smooth, aided by their web portal with helpful tracking of the process and any open tasks. There were no sudden surprises during closing and the process was wrapped up a week or two ahead of schedule!

Mallory went way out of her way to help us get a new home. We had virtual meetings with her where she and her team answered any questions we had. They wasted no time replying to any questions we had via email or phone. She sent us little gifts along the way, reminding us to spend time on things other than house shopping. It was the little things that made a big impact. And the best part, we closed on our house in about two weeks! And then, at closing, there was on the table a beautiful and delicious cookie bouquet. Seriously, everything was phenomenal with Treadstone. Julie and her team really did everything under the sun to get us from start to finish with convenience and fast results. We ran into a bump with our first offer from our sellers; found a new place and moved in still on schedule! We wouldn’t have been able to stay off schedule with move in if we weren’t working with Julie. I’ve also worked with a couple other mortgage companies and Treadstone went above and beyond!

Throughout the process, Mallory and her team provided detailed breakdowns and comparisons for us to review; we are first-time home-buyers, so the attention to detail really helped put us at ease! During the closing process, there were some issues with the seller's mortgage company (not Treadstone's fault), and Mallory worked with our real estate agent to help move the ball forward so we could still get keys to our new home on the agreed upon date without additional fees! Having a locally recognized mortgage company is good, but having a real person in your corner rooting for you is even better! Would definitely recommend Treadstone to any other first-time buyers out there.
