Do NOT become a member with this credit union and if you already are LEAVE. I promise you it is in your best interest all the way around. I had been with CWCU since I was 16 yrs old, as my financials became more important to me I quickly realize CWCU does not have their members in their best interest. Over the past few years I have dealt with rude and ignorant employees, random fees applied to my accounts without a valid explanation when asked, automatic loan payments taken out twice in a month on random days (happened more than once), horrible rates on loans, the list goes on. I recently refinanced my car loan and personal loan with LMCU and lowered my monthly payment by OVER HALF. Yes, over half! This is for the same loan term and my credit score even significantly dropped this past year. CWCU is screwing over their members with pride, apparently.

I’ve had nothing but positive experiences since I joined Community West over 10 years ago. Staff is always helpful and willing to go above and beyond to help me. Their specialized staff (mortgages etc) are very knowledgeable and ensure your transactions occur smoothly. The shared branch system is amazing!! It allows Grandpa on the other side of the state to deposit money for the grandkids directly in their accounts for birthdays and makes accessing our money while traveling hassle free. I have recommended them to family and friends and will continue to do so.

I've worked with numerous banks, they all have some weird quirk but I haven't work with one with such bad service, a horrible website, poorly designed loan payment platform (to the point it seems this way to make it difficult and expensive to use - $20 convenience fee), shady fees ($2 a month for a printed statement because I logged onto the website once - which I did so I didn't have to by the previous $20 convenience fee - see the level of shady this is becoming) and one using an insecure, out of date platform for account generation (literally a random email that takes you to a none bank website with an expired certificate). After bringing these things up to customer service all I got was "Well thats what we have. You have to pay those fees.". There are so many other credit unions and local community banks to use. I cannot recommend them for any services.

I wanted to make a change in beneficiary but was advised I had to come to a branch office and fill out a form. The other two credit unions I have accounts at as well as my fidelity investments account allow me to make changes online in the internet banking program. I wish you would make such changes possible as well.

I absolutely LOVE this credit union. I have been with them since their inception when they used to be the Steelcase credit union. Every transaction with them has been helpful, pleasant and I won't go anywhere else.

I have had the pleasure of working with Cyndi as my mortgage consultant for a few years now, and I have to say, she has exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I first contacted her, Cyndi was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive to my needs.

I Love Community West Credit Union! I want to share the phenomenal experience I had with their staff member, Dawn. She was so professional, patient and kind. Dawn made getting a loan an easy and pleasant experience. It should also be noted that she talked to me about how it could be advantageous to consider getting a Certificate of Deposit.
I am grateful that over the years, I have continued to get the financial support that I need from Community West Credit Union.
