I got to the bank 20 mins early to make sure i was the first one in line (i had meetings this morning) and ended up being last in line waiting an absurd amount of time. When the lady opened the drive through door it got stuck so they couldnt take my items through the window. They had me pull forward so someone could take a look at the door. The lady couldnt figure it out and then told me to get in line #2 ( which had filled with cars in the meanwhile). I told her I was late because of this and she did nothing. A horrible experience with horrible customer service. This happened at the grayling mi location only.

This is thee “worst credit Union” I’ve ever opened an account at, (and this is not the only bank I go thru) and this is not the first bank I’ve been in, so I know what to expect from a bank. But this bank/credit union is crazy, they kinda come off looney, don’t bother trying to get them to do a loan/finance a vehicle because they turn around and tell you every single vehicle that you choose is worth less than what the dealership is asking for and I mean get real it’s 2023 every dealership out there is making money on cars, yet you won’t give out a loan in order for me to get a car and for the dealership to make a little money and for me to get a car that I’m personally happy with It’s like if a cars only worth 15,000 they will only loan that vehicle out for 15,000. It’s like they have to be happy with what they are asking for on the car. I got denied on a Camaro because it was worth 14,000 and they wanted 15,500 for it, and this was just to much for them. I’ve tried on motorcycles, cars, you name it, I won’t even bother asking them for a house loan because they will come back and say they want too much for the house. Like really if my credit shows I can afford it and my income shows I can afford it, that should be it, it’s like they refuse to let you over pay for stuff. Business is business everyone is out to make a little cash (including you guys) get over it and hand the loan out. Another thing, personal loans, if it don’t meet there criteria for what a personal loan should consist of than they won’t give it to you, regardless if you can afford it. You can’t just say the loan is for “personal reasons” they HAVE to know what it’s for. I think this bank is extremely nosey. Most banks for a personal loan, they ask what it’s for and you say personal, and still get the loan, but not this bank. NOSEYYYYYYYYY. I recommend you guys switching your policy up and maybe visiting other credit unions and take note of how they do things and then go from there. Let’s talk about the PINS to your debit cards, you can’t choose your own pin, unless you wait for there pin THEY CHOOSE to reach your mailbox, and than you have to leave your house go to an atm in order to change your pin, you can’t choose your own pin talking to them in person nor on the phone, this is extremely inconvenient and annoying, I really wonder where North central gets some of this stuff lol.

I opened a new account and the staff was very helpful and friendly.
There was no negative interaction at all. I would recommend using this branch as your place of business.
