TruNorth Federal Credit Union, Ishpeming, MI

Very inconvenient bank Closed my account today, staff at Wal-mart were great. They were friendly and helpful. ATM somewhere other than inside Wal-mart would be great. That is my main complaint.

Mobile banking with TruNorth is an experience from 2006. Any problems - there's no getting help remotely. But I will say that the loan process is pretty smooth and the staff I personally dealt with were willing to help. But it would be nice to not have to go in to a branch for every little issue.

I have never, not once, had a problem or issue with this credit union. Also open at hours or on days where other places would be closed. Sets the par for other organizations.

I've had a lot of poor experiences with this credit union. now that I belong to 2 other banks and use their mobile apps I can confidently say that TruNorth just plain sucks.

Horrible bank.. never had anything but problems with it. First off they are never open. Second their ATM's are always down. Third their automated bologna keeps taking money for loans that aren't even due yet. Took over half of my husband's paycheck to unnecessarily pay off a loan. Now we are trying to figure out how to get our money back. This bank is just such a joke. Don't trust this bank with your money! Also most of their 5 star reviews are from employees.

Only credit union I have found to charge for ATM use for other credit union members.

This bank is awful. My boyfriend is trying to get a house, he gave them everything they’ve asked for, he even had a closing date that he could move into the house.. they told him the other day that they need $2,000 more. Don’t recommend this bank.
