Arbor Financial Credit Union, Kalamazoo, MI

Been with arbor a long time but their atms are awful.. The atm services are still stuck in 1990. I go across the street to consumers. Bonuses for going to consumers vs arbor is can make cash deposits, can withdrawal in 1's, 5's, and 10's, and their atm have never been out of cash like arbor's has on multiple occasions.

Each time I call I’m on hold listening to same messages for 9-15 minutes that provides false information so I typically hang up .They never contact you when requested, approval isn’t in minutes and you have to keep calling to get updates, and the online system never works. Disappointing because they use to be my favorite. The building are great and face to face interactions, but not good for people who travel or don’t live close to facility. I have started to switch over to another credit union

Doesn’t really matter which one you go to but you will wait at least 10 minutes in the drive thru to be helped and their atms are so old you can’t deposit cash at them. They are quick to charge overdraft fees. I hate to say this but I like Huntington more.

How many credit unions/ banks can you walk in to and see the shoes of the employees?? Love the personable atmosphere.

RACIST Assistant manager I came in to deposit a rather large check and was met with highly inappropriate and discriminatory comments and questions. When I asked for the main managers contact info I was met with a very hastily rude. I am the manager once I asked for her card it said, assistant manager I asked where is the head manager she also asked for an address of the bank from which to check came from which I’ve never heard that a day in my life that assistant manager or whatever it’s so blatantly, racist and disrespectful it’s insane that people like that still exist

Fantastic service everyone always smiles and I feel so welcome. 10 out of 10 would recommend this bank to anybody.
