Forest Area Federal Credit Union, Lake City, MI

This place send me spam more than any placed I've used with life insurance proposals and such. Yesterday I had a thing pip up on my app saying that my direct deposit could be put in my account 2 days early and thought that was cool as my previous bank always did that, then the app wanted to charge me 15 bucks to do something other banks did for free. Couldn't resist the urge to make a dollar where there shouldn't be one. My family is looking elsewhere for services now.

My old credit union charged for mail bank statements. So I started looking for one that didn't. Forest Area will still send me mail bank statements at no cost to me. The employee at the Lake city branch have treated me with utmost respect and help me out every step of the way. J

This bank is the worst bank I have ever seen. The lack of customer care is unbelievable I was placed on lock down due to covid I have tried daily to have my card replaced so I can pay my bills but they refuse to issue me a new card. I can't pay my bills i can order my family food I can't provide for my most basic needs bc this bank will not issue me my card disgusted

I love this credit union! I've been with them for over 4 years. They have excellent rates and the staff is amazing. Always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful . I highly recommend this credit union!

The staff including the Bank Manager Stacy, all the Tellers especially Taylor, Alisha the Lender are amazing to work with. They are patient, kind, knowledgeable, and honest! I have moved all of my money into their establishment.

The Lake City branch of FAFCU has always been helpful and efficient. The lobby is always nice and welcoming, and all staff members are friendly and helpful! I would go to the Lake City branch time and time again! Highly recommend FAFCU as your local credit union!
