I went to this location to deposit $825 cash into my son's bank account for his car insurance via the drive thru. A trip I thought would take 5 minutes, turned into a nightmare. When the teller took my tub she returned to say she would need my identification, and upon asking why she stated the computer may ask. I explained to the elderly white woman that I make this deposit all the time. She then advised for me to send my identification anyway. I advised I didn't have to for cash deposit. After an extenuating back and forth, I asked for my money back. As an African-American mother the disrespect I received was unnecessary. Fifth Third everyone is not scammers and the African-American community has money just as their white peers. I hope you'll provide some training to your staff. Although, I live in this area, I'll never use this location again, and I have been for 2 years.

I personally have had very few experiences at this branch that I would say are good. It seems like they have a high turnover rate of bankers, and a lot of personal banking problems have happened that stem from misinformation, or a lack of communication with the staff and myself/my husband at this bank. We are in the process of switching to the Grand Ledge branch as we have found their service to be better.

One of the employees behind the counter was not wearing a mask today 1/04/2021. I had to approach the counter and come within 6 feet of this person to conduct business. Drawing an imaginary straight line from me to this person, there was no glass barrier in between us either. This person made no attempt to put on a mask the entire time I was in the branch. The other time I visited this location, months ago (at least post-August), I had to remind the employees to wear their masks over their noses.

What a great crew! After one minor issue which was immediately corrected by the branch manager shortly opening an account i have been thrilled to visit this location and drive out of my to see my personal banker Cynders regularly. The whole crew is amazing!

I have had fifth third bank for a few years now. And this year of all years during a pandemic i haven’t had the best experiences. Would highly recommend a different bank.
