Nicolet National Bank, Manistique, MI

Called the bank in manistique today and was told that the reason I have a $5 service charge on my account was because I don't have electronic banking and that I needed to download the Nicolet app and sign up for e banking. She essentially refused to waive the $5 fee so I contacted the main contact number at Nicolet Bank and I was told the $5 fee is due to inactivity on the account, (I don't really use the account as I don't live there year-round) not because I didn't sign up for eBanking. I then called the rep at Nicolet Bank and she was awesome and she voluntarily waved my $5 fee and closed out my account and will send me a full refund.

After proving all payments were made, and cashed, early or on time Nicolet National Bank is still trying to charge a late fee against my mortgage.

Worst bank I have ever encountered and I banked with several other banks due to moving around. The staff is so rude it’s unbelievable, completely took me off guard. I literally would try my best to avoid having to talk to the women there. Their policies are crazy as well. Do not bank here. Embers Credit Union on the other-hand are wonderful and make your day when you have to go in to talk to them.

I see the staff here probably once every couple weeks and they are truly wonderful! So thankful for all that they do to help. ❤️
