This is by far the worst credit union I have ever delt with! If you plan on trying to use the online banking, save yourself the trouble and go anywhere but UP State Credit Union. I have called and reset my online information more times than I can count. To this day I still can't access my account. IT'S GARBAGE AND IM DON DEALING WITH GARBAGE!

I have banked with this place for a little over four years. The employees are great at the location, they will do whatever it takes to ensure awesome customer service. At this point you're probably wondering why the one star, let me explain, about a month ago my wife and I went on Ticketmaster to buy tickets to see Bob Seger in concert in grand rapids. The cost was a little over $1,000 for really good seats. When we went to check out we we're routed to a third party site who took our payment. Not Ticketmaster! I immediately called the bank and told them to cancel the transaction, the person working the phone said it had to come out because it was autharizau. I never authorized a third party to take money out. Fast forward about three weeks into the fraud investigation, Kathy from the Escanaba office called me and said she would be returning my money. That's great and all accept now the concert was sold out. She then tells me that the company or person can dispute it and they will again take my money. Well today I get the phone call that the individual disputed it and they were going to take and give them over $1,000 out of my savings account for a concert that my wife and I couldn't see. When asked if the resolution officer was in for the fraud department was in they said that she wouldn't be in until Monday. No assistant or anyone else to handle this problem. They took my money gave it to a fraudulent individual and that's that. My wife and I are closing accounts and moving to a bank that won't Rob us.

I called norway branch hour for drive thru 9-12 arrived at 10am closed 2 weeks b4 xmas. Little more than 5 years ago i had a teller Penny screwed up through out her day. Instead of owning up to her mistake pulled 400.00 out of my account never called to ask me what deposit i made or even explain the situation to me. Instead i start bouncing check end up having over 100.00 in over drafts fees. Only explanation I was given was there was a correction on my account and I'm responsible. Well today was the final straw. I will b closing my account... The only reason i gave them a star was to give my review

The Norway Branch siphoned off 95.00 of my money in dormancy fees, during the pandemic when they were closed.

The new online app is terrible. The banking app has 2 major flaws
1) does not show a running balance so if you accidentally go negative you can not see were it started and makes it harder to balance you account
2) does not show deposits pending such as, disability or other income
Like the old app much better. Have a disabiled adult and she was able to use app but new app is not working for her because it limits information provided
PLEASE GO BACK TO APP!! Or add these features back in the new. Not showing the individual balance after each transaction puts a lot more manual work on people to find a problem or plan their money for the month
