Fifth Third Bank & ATM, Richland, MI

On May 30th I went into the branch to make a deposit. I made the deposit and asked that my credit card balance be paid off. The next Monday I made a deposit to a different branch. I checked my credit card balance out of habit and was told it was at the same amount as last week when I previously asked for it to be paid. Confused I asked them to pay it off. I check my online account and on the 30th $650 was withdrawn and not credited to my credit card. After days of seeking answers turns out it was paid to the principal of my mortgage. God knows why. 5/3 first told me that they could only apply it to my credit card. When I said no. They said all they could do was send it back to my checking and it would take days. No offer to make it better. No sincere apologies. Did says he was going to talk to the teller. Like it's their fault the whole system sucks. Would give zero stars.

I was told I would receive a 2% interest rate on money market. Their was a problem with new money or current account which I was told would be taken care of so as not to lose our business. Then I was told it took 45 days to receive 2% interest 67 days later I will be closing my account.

Opened an account with this bank almost a month ago and still have not recieved my debit card. Truly disappointing.

Nice staff, but not a fan of 5/3 fees.
