Financial Plus Credit Union, Saginaw, MI

I would recommend Financial Plus to everyone. Rebecca at the one in Saginaw has went above and beyond to help me multiple time. I went in to payoff my late son's car payment, she did research and found out he had life insurance in it. That saved me almost 10k. Excellent service.

Financial Plus used to be easy to speak to someone Now you have to jump through hoops to actually get through to a rep! Terrible service line.

I began baking with Amalgamated GM Family Credit Union when I was 12 years old. My entire GM family banked with Amalgamated Credit Union for decades. The change to Financial Plus RUINED this small town worker's credit union. I could walk into Amalgamated and have all my banking needs met with a simple face to face meeting. Since the buy out, I am denied for a mortgage, a car loan, and student loans. I have perfect payment history with them and a 689 credit score. Today they closed my (zoro balance owed) credit card that I had for over 12 years (approved by amalgamated credit union). No reason. Just closed. Twelve years of perfect pay history on that account down the drain dropping my credit score by 23 points. I am shopping for a new credit union today! If you are a working class or lower income individual, this is not the bank for you. My entire family switched to Wildfire Credit Union and they are all very happy they did.

I have had 5 or 6 loans through Financial Plus. When I apply I have to chasethem down to find out the decision. They do not contact me. The loan officers that I have dealt with have spoken to me disrespectfully at some point during our conversations. Usually the loan(s) are denied. Then I have to speak to someone "higher up" and the loan gets approved. I have a flawless pay history with all of my loans and every one of them has been paid off early! Incredible unprofessionalism!!!

I love FPCU as a whole but this location is trash! The branch manager just decides when they want to work. Hours on door say one thing but them actually being open is another. Join FPCU but avoid this branch.
