Soo Co-op Credit Union, Sault Ste. Marie, MI

I typically bank with credit unions because they can be trusted. Soo Co-op Credit Union just converted all free accounts to a plan with a 4.99 monthly fee. They required you to go through the hassle of opting out of a plan you never asked for. I already have identity protection and towing service. This is the sort of scam you expect from big banks. Soo Co-op Credit Union can't be trusted. Open an account at another credit union instead.

Called about a car loan and was taken care of by Monique Matthews. She was extremely helpful and everything went smoothly. The entire team was excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone

I would give the no stars but than people would know to stay away from this bank. They have posted hours but are never follow them. The app doesn't keep up with your balance at all and that means you will over draft constantly if you yourself don't do the math for your spending. And the tellers are very rude and judgemental to anyone they want to. Do yourself a favor and don't bank with this company!!!

very rude customer service - not a friendly staff - and want to rush and get you off the phone quickly - dont recommend if you have to call the for anything.

This is an exceptional Credit Union. The employees are very attentive and helpful to the customers. I have observed the employees going the extra mile to help the customers and are very patient with the older generation. I have been a member for over 20 years and have never had a bad dealing with the employee's or the Credit Union.
