GreenStone Farm Credit Services, Traverse City, MI

Well I just left a review for Lake Michigan Credit Union today and only felt it fair to leave one for Greenstone who I worked with Brent Voss a couple years ago and did a full Buy/Sell cycle. He was easy and fun to work with. To keep it short and sweet if you are looking for a loan you should at least give them a shot at it. What sparked this review is I got a letter today saying LMCU sold my note to Fannie which I thought my business was going to stay in-house/local (that is partly my fault but I thought that is mainly how Credit Unions work). Greenstone keeps loans in-house. So beware if you think you are going local you might not be. I am not trying to knock LMCU either for I was not disappointed with their work and you should do you diligence and give them a call too but felt appropriate to share some differences. Had I known that i might of gone with Greenstone again and paid a little more (this property was out of their wheel house and were doing me a favor so it was a little more expensive) or gone with a broker out of Chicago for 25 points less. I an not sure. Brent I should of left you a great review a while ago regardless sorry on the delay.
