U.S. Bank Branch, Albert Lea, MN

Im Sona from California. I had some work on this bank kellie dorman is working here. She is very nice and she treated me very well.

Had to open an account to cash my tax check. Went to use my account and couldn't. Called and they wanted social security card and proof of address went in next day to deal with it they inform me they closed the account and mailed a check out. Asked if they would cash the check from closing my account oh no worries they will but it will cost me $7 to cash a check from them by them. What a joke.

Extremely short staffed with hours that simply aren’t feasible to someone working normal business hours. On more than one occasion, I’ve spent my entire lunch break in their drive up and at the walk up lobby window. Phones at this branch are often not staffed but play a message directing you to call the 800 number or go online. Long lines at the drive up.

Lately we have had issues trying to access our account. The message "This sight cannot be reached" comes up. This has become more frequent. Is there a reason for this? Also, I recently received a call from new accounts at U.S. Bank. They wanted to help us start a higher interest bearing savings account. However, when I went in to sign up, I was then told that it was only available for new account holders. Doesn't long time loyalty to this bank account for anything?

My husband and I are very pleased with their service. Jeremy and Christina have been very instrumental in loan transactions and various other issues. Have always been patient and helpful.
