Northview Bank, Barnum, MN

I purchased a cabin with a mortgage from Northview and it was the best experience I have ever had with a bank. I had the pleasure of working with Tom who was responsive, friendly, professional, and extremely helpful always. Everything about the experience was the opposite of what it can be like to work with major national banks. When you call the bank, they answer the phone. Same with emails. The feeling was that I was working with great people trying to help other people out -- as it should be! Thank you Tom and Northview Bank!

I would not recommend trusting Northview Bank with your consumer information. I am an existing customer and my most sensitive personally identifiable information was shared without my expressed consent in plain text outside of a secure file share system. The employees are very nice and have been helpful, however they are not in tune with customer information security, which is a non-negotiable item when it comes to the digital age in the finance industry.

I had the pleasure of working with Kate Nummela on my house mortgage and she was the perfect person to have handle it. I felt confident the entire time that everything was taken care of on her side of things which was nice to not have to worry.
