Very friendly atmosphere. I love their updated look. Most of the staff is very friendly. They have alot of great options in order to help you with finances. If your looking for a friendly and welcome place to do your banking, hometown is your place to go!!

Couple weeks ago my family and I had a distressing meeting with Meghan Malchow at Hometown Credit Union. The treatment we received during this encounter left us feeling deeply unsettled, as we believe it was a clear case of discrimination. Having been loyal customers of the credit union for years, the way in which we were treated by Ms. Malchow was not only unprofessional but also incredibly distressing. Our objective was to obtain a pre-approval for a new home purchase. However, Ms. Malchow continuously altered her opinion regarding our eligibility, creating an atmosphere of uncertainty. To exacerbate matters, her promise to email us the pre-approval by the end of the week went unfulfilled. This incident has left us with the strong conviction that we were mistreated solely due to the color of our skin, and we firmly believe that this is an unacceptable situation.

The employees are VERY KIND and NICE here! We have ENJOYED banking here because our banking experience at the State Bank of Faribault was TERRIBLE!! I highly recommend the Faribault Credit Union to anyone!!!
