Unfortunately very disappointed with my experience with this company trying to get help with an airplane loan. I reached out to this bank and started the process of qualifying for an air loan, and I felt that I had to work really hard to get everything together to be approved. But overall felt that the loan officer was not really helpful and not trying to really help me get approved for the loan. Since I had a lot of financial changes in the last year, we already knew it might affect the decision of getting approved or not. The loan officer promised she'd let me know early on what direction we're going towards - yes or no - so I don't waste their time and they don't waste my time. Took a little longer to get all the documents in order but I already got the feeling they wouldn't approve, even at that point. The loan officer already knew that I had excellent credit, but I specifically asked not to run a credit check if the chance to get the loan is low, since I didn't want it to hurt my credit. All through the process I felt like I needed to chase after her to get any answers and make sure things are moving forward quickly as I needed to know ASAP so I wouldn't lose a great deal for the airplane I wanted. Eventually getting a loan from them didn't work, which was kind of the feeling I got from the beginning, which I was totally fine with. To my surprise on the last day of the process I was surprised that the loan officer from this bank did a hard credit check which impacted my credit. I felt that was completely unnecessary. Taking a loan is stressful enough and not easy, but I felt that the lack of help,lack of honesty, and the fact that unnecessarily my credit was impacted, was just an all around disappointment with Red River Bank airloan division. Hopefully you have a better experience, just felt it was fair to share mine. Not trying to cause any problems and my intention is not to say bad things, but that was my experience. Since then I already received my loan for my new airplane from another company and already purchased it and the experience was much quicker and better. It's important to mention I am disappointed with my experience, not because of the fact I wasn't approved for the loan.

Unresponsive staff. Spent over a week calling them repeatedly with no response. Would never recommend to anyone.
