Horrible service. The woman, jessica, i think is her name, was super rude on the phone and wasn't clear about their policies. She acted like I should have known but obviously if it's my first time talking to you as a company how would i know? She sounded annoyed like she didn't want to work there. Horrible representation. I was told I was already approved but then they took back their approval? they have "policies" that they aren't upfront about in their advertising. Don't fall for scam company that will only ruin your credit trying to run multiple check on your credit. Go somewhere else.

Jonathan was super rude and condescending when I asked a question that I supposedly “missed in his previous response”. Clearly, customers have questions and even though it may have been a “dumb” question, there was no need to belittle me. When I told him I would like to cancel my application because of his behavior and attitude, he kept asking how he was being rude like he wanted to argue with me. Because of that reason and the vibe I received from Jonathan, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Jonathan, if you’re having a bad day or don’t like your job - FIND A DIFFERENT ONE!

I had a talk with Jordan and she was wonderful. She explained my loan to me and was so friendly and professional. I definitely would recommend this establishment if in need of some cash that you KNOW you can handle the rate and pay schedule. You are bound to have a bad experience if your ability to pay is unstable. Pay your bills!!

I would not recommend taking a loan out through One Main Financial in general, but DO NOT go through this St. Louis Park location. Even if you call during business hours, no one will pick up the phone. You will have to leave a voicemail, and they will usually only call you back if it pertains to you taking out a loan. I have tried calling multiple times throughout the course of my loan, and no one will call me back. Everything is done online, which isn't a problem if you never need anything. Their communication with customers is terrible, and I have heard now since getting a loan, that this is not uncommon. The reason I would not recommend taking out a loan through One Main Financial is because their loans accrue interest daily, which means if you make a $200 payment, over 50% will go to paying your interest. It takes FOREVER to pay off your loan, even if you make dedicated payments.

This company is a scam! I was in really bad financial situation and I needed a way out so of course I took the first financial institution that said yes to me without doing proper research. Their customer service team are untrained and very disrespectful! They will yell at you and not even let you get a word out during a conversation. I had a late payment report to the credit bureaus when I was wasn’t late. I thought, you know what maybe it was a mistake, they will update their system and everything will show correctly. Nope, they reported me 60 days late 5 days later and the next month 90 days late. I’m sorry I’m no Einstein, but that’s not how late payment are reported. I definitely wasn’t late 90 day in a row. I contacted them to fix the error and I was told, if I feel my account was reported incorrectly I should write a letter to them and they will review my account and let me know. How can I be 90 days late when you are 1 day pass your payment they harass you with 100 phone calls? Something needs to be done about this company. They have unethical business practices and someone needs to investigate them. I will be reporting them to other government agencies as well! I’m also going to follow up with the credit bureaus.
