We've been banking here since they opened and have been pleasantly surprised. Have had some car loans with them and now have our mortgage with them. Personally, love this credit union and because my wife frequents the place more than I do, sometimes I'm referred to as "Mr. Deb". LOL

I’ve had nothing but EXCELLENT service from Star Choice Credit Union I’ve been a member since 2014. Everyone is so helpful and kind. I’ve never had this type of fantastic customer service from a bank. I love their new website and App!! Keep up the great work Star Choice Credit Union, Thank You!!

They are seriously so nice and always happy to go way above and beyond. It’s very kid friendly too. They have prizes for kids and fun seasonal decor that my kids love. During the beginning of COVID, Star Choice was one of the only places I felt safe going to. They had temperature checks, entrance and exit routes, and mask requirements, and kept these precautious much longer than most places. I believe they still have a mask requirement. We love having them in our neighborhood and will absolutely recommend them to others.

I normally don't have issues but this is getting ridiculous. The atm debit card not working? Could not use to purchase or get money out of my account. Has happend way to often. Good thing i had a credit card but now ill have to pay cash advance fees super inconvenient . I drove 100 miles to meet up with friends then could not do anything cause i could not get money out of my bank? Please fix this problem or have an email to all customers your having issues so i dont have to waste my time. Went to grocery store and could not make a purchase. I have almost 2000 in bank but cannot acces my account?

Friendly, courteous, helpful what more could you want. Their services are comparable to other Banks/credit unions. I've had accounts here for about 6 years and I have no complaints.

When I first start banking with Star Choice, 6-7 years ago, it was amazing. They seemed to truly want to help people and had great customer service. Never missed a payment on my car loan or ever had Overdrafts, etc. Well, I lost my job in early March 2022. I went to the bank to discuss options on payments as I took a HUGE loss in income and they were great! They created a 6 month payment plan that I could afford and I was told after 6 months we would evaluate where I was at and if the plan needed to be extended, they would take a look at it and see what they could do. I have been in constant contact with the Manager, Ryan over the course of this last 6 months. My monthly payments came out the wrong day several times, causing me to have OD fees at my new bank, which they corrected. But then it happened a second month, they reimbursed my fees again. I had been making my payments on time for the 6 months. When the 6 months ended, they reached out and said the new payment was going to be close to $400 per month. I had a new job by then, but no way could I afford that payment. I told the manager I simply couldn't afford that payment and he asked, "what can you afford?" I told them. NEVER HEARD from them AGAIN!! Without notice, they charged off my unsecured loan. I emailed the manager and left a voicemail and never received a response. So much for " we will continue to work with you" I ended up having to file for bankruptcy. So much for trying to do the right thing and payoff my debts. The customer service has tanked at this bank. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone at this point. I have heard they are merging with another credit union and the name is going to change soon. I wonder why?
