We have banked with Hometown Bank for over two decades! The have a super friendly staff and are active around the community. They also have a "Star Saver" program for kids that offers kids a higher interest rate so kids can see their money grow. The Star Saver program also offers kids cash rewards for things like A's on a report card, community service hours, and attending workshops about money or entrepeneurship.

I called a banker I was suggested to, due to a conflict of interest l present in the relationship with my current banker. Asking if I could have help in the direction of getting approved for fanancial support to my company and a non-profit. Instead of hearing that I was asking for help on improving my own credit into a position they can work with, he disregarded my entire case as soon as he knew difficulties were in my credit history and that my hopes were to correct it. It is sad when the "hometown bank" doesn't even give the hometown business a chance at providing a hometown type of community. What happened to potential growth instead of fear over taking a chance? What happened to hometown values that put the opportunity to make a difference above pure profits?

So the review remains for majority of the ppl at this bank except for Jess so im urging those that have dark skin like mine and have problems with some of the tellers and workers in general to ask for Jess she is the best person ever!I go back and remained at this bank becuz everytime I go there to cash a payroll check she cashes it no problems but where as the other ones all sit there and give me lots of problems!.

The friendliest home town bank where everyone knows your name! They have the best service and a great and helpful staff!
