Citizens Alliance Bank, Watertown, MN

My firm had applied for a loan with Mr Eric Nesvig - a loan officer in their Watertown branch. This person colluded with the Appraiser to lower valuation of our portfolio - our hard earned money ! They have absolutely no value to timeliness, sincerity, written word, ethics and relationship. All what this bank cares is how they can squeeze their customers to extract more and more. They don't realize that a lemon when squeezed too hard starts yielding bitter juice ! Our advice in one line - FIND ANOTHER BANK !

Absolutely horrible experience with this bank. When I approached them for a refinance on my small portfolio they purposefully colluded with the Appraiser to bring lower valuation for my portfolio. It was ridiculous to see that their valuation in 2021 was lower than the valuation I had received from another bank in 2020! Citizens Alliance Bank Commercial Loan division is running a scam to depriving investors of their hard earned equity by stripping this equity using lower valuation so that they can hold more equity with lesser amount of loans. On the contrary and despite all the verbal apologies, their loan office Mr. Eric Nesvig continued to claim and demand $4400 towards his appraisal cost. An appraisal that was baseless, illogical, manipulated, fabricated and ridiculous. Stay away from this bank who is unethical, unprofessional, slow, manipulative and vindictive ! They not only wasted my six valuable months but I had notional losses on two projects that I couldn't acquire owing to their false promises. Stay away !!!

I will be forever grateful to Citizens Alliance Bank!!! I have been a Wells Fargo customer for over 30 years. When the pandemic hit I thought that loyalty would be of great value. I could never have imagined how wrong I was. When Wells Fargo horrifically failed my business and so many thousands of other small businesses, Citizens Alliance Bank was right there to be our saving grace. The bankers were personable, knowledgeable and communicative. They literally worked tirelessly to make sure our PPP application was accepted by the SBA. When I say tirelessly, I mean we were able to actively communicate with a banker at 12:30 am when we first found out we were approved. The application was approved and funded within 3 days!!! My business, my family and I cannot thank Citizens enough and I could not recommend a bank more!!!

Painfully slow, excruciatingly negotiating, manipulative, unethical ! They can withdraw from their written commitments. When we escalated the matters to their higher ups, no one responded. What a pathetic leadership ! Be careful ! Worst experience !

This bank is useless their tellers are rude and act like it's the end of the world if you ask them to do their job. Their bankers are not the brightest and can never answer your questions or resolve any problem you have with them which there is many issues you will have if you bank with them. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere els .
