Just finished a meeting with Karen Swanson at Ideal. My husband and I have been doing business with Ideal for about two years now and today was an exceptional experience. I came in to just make a deposit and decided to get more info on the high-yield checking account. Karen quickly came and got me sat me down and went through the process. She even did a docusign for my husband that was not present. Karen was friendly competent and efficient. I was a customer for many years. My funds dropped and I changed my account so as not to incur fees after I was disabled. They stopped sending statements. At some point they changed my account without my knowledge so I'd incur fees a few years later. They told me tough luck and even ignored AG letters. They ripped off over $500. I warn all seniors and disabled people not to bank with them. If you are able bodied, I ask you to complain to them and bring your business elsewhere to protect your loved ones.

This by far is the absolute worst branch and maybe wider credit union I’ve dealt with in 50 plus years. Definitely the most unprofessional in banking and I actually do better than probably most all of not all of them financially. My business will easily be taken elsewhere. Very ignorant management and manners not to be trusted at all. Want better banking options? Try anywhere else.

I am happy to say that when I called in to discuss some unexpected issues with my account and was very pleasantly surprised to find, get this, a real person who actually knew what they were talking about! The very polite woman I talked to, Joey, went above and beyond to answer every single question I had and very patient and not afraid to phone a friend to ensure I got the right information. I would pick this level of service over the barely existent phone-maze that they call customer service at Wells Fargo any day of the week.
