Bank of Zumbrota, Zumbrota, MN

Terrible bank with ridiculous fees. Find a local credit union to bank with who cares about their customers.

Of the banks I have used in the past the Bank of Zumbrota has been the best and is why I am back with them after moving back to Zumbrota. They are always friendly, happy to answer questions and make me feel welcome. I have not had any of the problems that I've read in the other reviews. Since I've moved back, I've also opened up three business accounts and have not had any trouble with any of these either. Love the mobile banking too as it makes my life a little more convenient with all accounts in one place for easy access and review.

The customer service is severely lacking. We recently moved into this town and wanted to open a second bank account so we would have a local account. The representative made it very difficult and many times was quite condescending. Good thing this is not our primary bank. We hoped for a warm welcome but got anything than that. ....good luck

Been with the BOZ for 10+ years, always had trouble getting loans and just all around communication, very unhelpful and frustrating, Will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. Long story short: I bought a truck, I'm getting charged 18.9% interest, came to be BOZ asking for help and I just got this huge run around. No loan. My Credit was a 6 something and now it's even lower because I wasted my time with them. Asked why I can't get loan and they said because I work outta state, offered to leave the vehicle in Zumbrota till it was paid off and even change my address to my home address, and they couldn't really tell me exactly why they won't approve the loan after I offered that.
