They have alot of junk!

Either they do not know how to evaluate jewelry or I was getting scammed. I'm shocked because the man behind the counter came off so patient and kind. I'm glad I took my ring over to the pawn shop in Imperial and then to a Jewelry store. This pawn shop told me my ring was only 10k gold and the center stone only .2/3 carat. However, after getting two more opinions, I now know it is without a doubt 14k gold and .75 carat center stone with .5 in accents. This shop told me that they would sell this ring for $1,000 max with their offer to me being much less. I now have it on consignment at a jewelry store for $3000 with my cut being $2200!!

True happy story: (We all need more of these) “Six years ago, my wife and I , needed some emergency cash, due to some important but expensive medical expenses. I borrowed $900, from Arnold Pawn , using my wife’s large diamond ring, as collateral. The same month, I have a massive stroke, and have been bedridden, for over six years, until now. I had forgotten, about the ring transaction, because of the stroke. 60 days ago, (6 years later) I stopped by Arnold Pawn , to buy some simple power tools. The owner, informed me, that he had been waiting for me, for six years, to return the diamond ring, to me. He did, and even gave me a discount. It is valued at $18,000. 😀
