Great Southern Bank, Aurora, MO

This particular location of great southern bank is horrible I've had to sit for an hour before Rhonda a manager said I'm not sitting up an account me another account came back next day sat 45 minutes she told me same thing very rude too I finally figured out on my own she just didn't want to do her job and wasn't going to ended up going to the republic Missouri branch it took them 15 minutes and I was done and out the door I try not to visit the Aurora Missouri branch service is horrible

Open or transfer an account to this branch and it's all warm fuzzy peaches and cream pleasantness. Have an issue of any kind and they become as cold as a dead fish on ice! Nothing is ever their fault and any explanation comes out as if you are doing them a great disservice and a response is like pulling teeth. Great Southern is a good bank, but this branch is another story entirely! I closed my account of over a year as a result, told them why, and they didn't even blink an eye. Wow!

Very friendly staff. Always happy to help with my questions. Super easy checking account setup took less then 5 minutes. I love the friendly staff and Rhonda is truly amazing. From Aaron a current great southern customer.

I went to this location to deposit my stimulus check. The check was in my name and I was depositing it in my account. Everything had the same name and it was a deposit. The teller told me she had to see my ID or she couldn't deposit the check because it was a stimulus check. Insanity ... No common sense. Welcome to America 2020 .........

We take in about 8000.00 a month. Due to poor customer service we only use this account for one direct deposit that I have been to lazy to change. At one time when I opened my account in 2000 they were amazing. I think they forgot what made them big.
