Great Southern Bank, Ava, MO

Apparently, they neither want one's money, nor business. I took 10K in to do a CD-secured loan, with the hope of building my credit. I wanted to use half of the CD for it, so the bank would have twice in security what I wanted as a secure loan. They declined my loan, even with the 10k cash security on a 5k loan. I am closing my accounts with them and taking my business elsewhere.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Especially Zach. He has been super nice every time I go.

I called to report a $180.00 transaction pending on my account that I didn't make. She couldn't tell me if it would be days, weeks, or months before I would get my money back. I told her I was on a fixed income and needed that money She didn't seem to care. Poor customer service. Update: I went to pick up my new card today and the gentleman behind the was great. He double checked to make sure sure old card was cancelled. Then Patty Doyle tok me in her office, ,shreddedcard and issued a new one. Topnotch service 👍 and issued
