Let me start by saying I have dealt with banks for over 19 years in my business on an everyday basis, so when I had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Schnakenberg to assist me in a loan for my home, he was absolutely nothing less than professional, down to earth, & by far the most knowledgeable banker I have ever had the opportunity to work with. He has not only made my process the smoothest, but because of his honesty, integrity and his common sense approach, Community National Bank & Trust has gained a new customer for life. Each time my wife and I have visited the bank, whether it be inside for business dealings, or with the staff thru the drive thru, its never been less than perfect!!! This bank has been great in anything I have needed. Most of their staff is always very friendly and eager to help wherever possible. I can not complain about this particular institute. If I have online issues, or just questions. I always get the answers I need. I am proud to be an established customer with Community National Bank & Trust, El Dorado Springs Branch.

This bank just bought our formerly locally-owned bank, and it is definitely a downgrade. We can no longer make electronic transfers from this bank to our other bank, and our renters can't transfer their rent into our account without physically going to the bank now. Super inconvenient, especially during a pandemic. They mail you a paper check which you then have to deposit. You can deposit it remotely if it's to a personal account, but it still adds two steps (mailing and depositing) to a process that used to be automatic (schedule it once and forget about it). Considering closing my account. Banks today should know that the convenience of remote banking is paramount to most of its clientele...
