My wife and I when in to get a loan from this location, let’s start by saying it’s less the impressed . Steve was very helpful at first and polite . Ensuring us that we could opt out of the loan within 24 hour with no issue it would just be the full amount of the loan . We discussed didn’t need the loan and within 6 hour returned to give the check back and cancel the loan as promised. When we got there Steve’s tune completely changed stating that he had never had this happen and wasn’t sure what to do . He called two people and the second one was a man named Jim who stated we had to cash the check and we would be even . So we asked Steve to please cash the check he said we wasn’t able to. We could take it to our local bank and they should be able to cash it . We got to the bank the they Informed us that if we were to cash the check that would be us excepting the loan and we could occur quite a bit of fees from doing so so they would not be comfortable cashing a loan we didn’t want to Accept, The banker also advised us to take the check on Cashton on sign back to the location and tell them that once we do sign it and cash it that is us excepting the loan and we are refusing to do so because it’s within our rights. We are also advised to call financial department and let them know of the situation at hand. We called the store location and let him know of the information that we were provided he was very impolite and stated that there wasn’t anything we could do without cash.. at this point I asked to have his managers phone number and he gave me a 800 number that led to a customer service line that would take three days to process my request knowing that that was outside of the window in which I had. After this we return to the store and asking him to please figure out a resolution that works for all parties he refused to cooperate and was very condescending getting back on the phone with a man named Jim who he stated was his boss saying that those ladies are back and they want to know what we can do to resolve the situation. After a short conversation of her mocking us with his boss she handed my wife the phone and stated to her that we could go to a Walmart or something and cash it but that was the best he had for us.Also questioning why we needed the loan to be returned in the first place which was honestly none of his business. We went to Walmart to cash the check after being so frustrated and dealing with us for over an hour at this point and they refused to cash a loan because it was coming back as suspicious and they weren’t able to process it properly which raise some eyebrows for sure. After that we once again return to the store and they told us to go to their competitor Lend nation which is right across the street. We were able to get the check cash there but unfortunately we had to pay $120 to get this thing cash out of our pockets for a loan that we did not need returning today his attitude was the same to pay off the loan I will never recommend this place for a loan for anyone and I would never have a loan through them again do you where is the experience with a business that I’ve had in Joplin for sure.If I was able to give negative stars he would definitely have some please do not waste your time with this joke of a company.

Of all the rip offs of payday and installment loans. Chenk 'n Go is the greatest of them all. I took an online loan for $1000 and when I tried to pay it off early after 10 bi-weekly payments my pay off balance was $1568. Taking a loan from these people is the equivalent of quiting your job and spending your savings cause you're not gonna see much of your paycheck once you're hooked by them. It's sad that such rip offs exist and are so willing to completely ruin people's lives with the illusion that they are there to help.

Carrie was awesome. She was informative, kind, and really pleasant to deal with. I definitely recommend to go here for any of your loan needs!

The employees are always really welcoming and wanting to help. They work with you and i always have a wonderful experiance when i go. When ever i need a loan i know to go to check n go in joplin

Threasa and carrie are awesome great people ... the other night threasa was able to help me out two minutes to close and processed my payment for me !!

Carrier and Bailey were awesome and helped me really fast for cashing my check and doing it for the first time!
