First State Community Bank, Macon, MO

The people are very nice, but actually reaching a REAL person on the phone at the Macon branch is next to impossible. No matter what number you call it's all pre-recorded messages. And no matter what you press it's so hard to get connected to a live person in town. Not even worth calling. If you have a local number have people answer like the rest of the banks I'm just trying to reach a live person to help me with a recording cannot.

Most unprofessional behavior I’ve ever experienced. Our banker completely ghosted us, as we were trying to get a loan for a house in which had deadlines we didn’t meet. Ignored all calls, text messages etc. but instead mailed us a loan application in which we didn’t even know we had coming. We couldn’t trust her to meet the deadline so unfortunately, we had to seek elsewhere. If you have deadlines, don’t go here.
