I've been banking with great southern for a while now. Each location I've visited are nice wonderful places, their kind to you and make sure everyrhing is working in order.. However this one (mtn grove location )i have found the most horrible. The workers (couple of them) are very mean, they speak to you like your stupid and this bank is the only bank, i have found IN Missouri that if you go into them. Even if you HAVE a account at another location they still won't give you change orders.... I'm not the one to post reviews. And I'm sorry if this upsets people. But this is ridiculous.

I went in the negatives because I wanted money out of savings and they took it out of my checking instead. it was there fault and all I wanted was my money back (if you go in the negatives you have to pay it back) it was their fault I should get my money back because it was their fault. I want them to replace my money!!! And I’m closing my account next week!

Horrible will never bank here if I have to use the Mountain Grove location .Closing it today .

I never visit physical locations. I bank online. But when I open accounts. I go here. Always been friendly.

They advertise about personal private banking account and yet will use their so-called fraud dept as an afront to ask personal questions such as: what you are using your money for. If you tell them they are asking private personal questions, they will recommend your account to be closed to their corporate office. Has this bank gone woke?

This bank is a joke! For almost a year that I have been back in mountain Grove I have been exchanging large bills for smaller bills they ask if I have an account there I said no but my husband does so they would exchange my large bills for smaller bills but now because their tellers can't count money correctly they all of a sudden start enforcing their what they claim has been a rule of the bank for years for not exchanging currency for any non customer so from now on my over the road truck driver husband all of a sudden has to be with me because the banks employees don't know how to do their job correctly ????? So glad my husband is changing banks over there rediculous rules I wasn't taking money out of the account had NOTHING to do with our money in the account just cash exchange !!!!!!!
