When I contacted OneMain Financial in regard to obtaining a loan I figured it would be the same as everywhere else--getting denied for one reason or another. Not only did I het approved BUT the customer service was amazing. The application process was very easy and I only had to submit a few documents. Washington MO branch is HIGHLY recommended and you should ask for Cody he was very polite, professional and helpful.

Just FYI, if you need a loan for a time sensitive issue. Please do yourself a favor and go to TOWER LOAN. Notice how every good rating is over 2 yrs old???????? One Main Financial will tell you things that show up on your credit report and tell you they need to be paid. Like things you paid within 1 month, over 10 years ago( not legal). Yet, they also ask you to pay the balance on an active credit card with ZERO LATE PAYMENTS.( also not legal) I have a good credit score and every time we called it was a new hurdle to get around. They wasted 1 week of our time. Now the engine for our vehicle missed its appointment today because we didn't have loan to order engine in time. Being a Disabled couple with very good credit. They should have just said we don't want to give you a loan. So, being disabled we have no transportation for at least 2 weeks. Because they people in this location. Have ZERO IDEA of how to do their jobs properly! I called TOWER LOAN in Washington Mo. And after 1 phone call and 20 minutes later we had our loan. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME like WE did! You may be stuck at home for 2 weeks. And if we have a medical emergency. One of us would miss the GOLDEN HOUR if we must wait for an ambulance and to be checked & then taken to hospital. Because One Main was more interested in setting up false hurdles, We very well could be in a highly possible dangerous situation. All because these folks act like they want to lend you money, when actually the guys sit there and talk all day just to collect a pay check. Truthfully, save yourself Time, Stress, and COMPLETE MISINFORMATION ABOUT YOUR CREDIT REPORT and go to TOWER LOAN. The folks there are very helpful and they truly care about each person that comes in. As we had to wait while they finished up another patron. And we were treated with the same caring professionalism that you will NOT GET at One Main Financial. Take a lesson from a disabled couple, this company doesn't care about people or how good your credit score is, they just sit there and collect paycheck after paycheck and set hurdles for you to cross that actually do not exist on your credit report. Just Complete and Total disregard for any type of professionalism at any measure. Truthfully they don't even deserve 1 star. This is just to let the public know to avoid this place at all cost and go to TOWER LOAN. Do not do business with this organization. Very unprofessional. Told us we were prequalified, sent over request doc to Adam and never heard from him. Could there be discriminatory practices in play? Hmmm...I'll keep you posted.

Lady is rude and unprofessional and will lie and give false hopes on Loans . Ask way to many questions and gives bad judgment . I think her name was Cheryl or something like that . Would choose a different loan service if I was you.

Quickly done without too much hassle

Save yourself some time and trouble. I have a Good credit score, excellent payment history. They asked a TON of questions after proof and documentation sent. Told me I was approved, then waited till I called THEM at 4:00 to find out they couldn't do it. Literally logged into another site and got over DOUBLE what I was asking for from these folks with a LOWER interest rate in 5 minutes! I mean I came out ahead by them doing what they did, but I HATE that I have this inquiry on my report for absolutely NO reason. Seriously go with ANY body else.
